FORLiSE Beers and Appies

With delicious locally crafted beer, tasty nibbles and a few rousing games of ping pong, this past week’s Chamber Après at FORLiSE made for quite an entertaining evening.  While perusing the impressive works of art covering the walls and savouring a sip of Coast Mountain Brewery’s craft beer, the Après was an excellent opportunity to meet many of the local business people that keep this town ticking.

Winner of the “Innovative Business of the Year Award” at the 2016 Whistler Excellence Awards, FORLiSE provided the perfect atmosphere for the evening.  As a lifestyle and community space, FORLiSE showcases Lululemon’s masculine collections as well as Whistler’s local artists and athlete ambassadors.  In addition to hosting community events such as weekly “Broga” stretch and beer sessions, FORLiSE welcomes community members into its space for use as a quiet workspace or to meet like-minded mountain lovers.

As a first time attendee of a Whistler Chamber event, this Après made for a fun and easy-going networking opportunity.  Catching up with familiar faces and making new connections was a blast and this surely will not be the last Chamber Après I attend.
