I would like to express my interest in sitting on the WCC Board of Directors. I believe that I would bring a great deal of vibrancy, enthusiasm and entrepreneurial experience to the Board. I have spent the last 4-years immersed in the Whistler business community after moving here to ski in 2012. My first couple of years were spent like many other Whistler employees. I juggled three jobs and dealt with an unstable housing situation, all while trying to live the Whistler dream. With a growing desire to make Whistler my long-term home, I then transitioned to entrepreneurship. Since then, I have built, run, bought and sold multiple businesses in Whistler (and I haven’t looked back). As an entrepreneur, I have gained extensive experience with financial statements, strategic planning and riskmanagement. I entrusted the WCC to help grow my businesses.

Since becoming a member 2015, I have actively participated in many WCC events and gatherings. I am also a current board member of the BC Liberal WVS2S Riding Association, as well as the Whistler Slo-Pitch Association. In my spare time, I volunteer at Whistler Blackcomb as a Ski Patroller and with Zero Ceiling as an Adventure Sessions Host. If chosen, I believe that I can continue to give back to my community by encouraging engagement, seeking new opportunities and listening to what is important to the Whistler business community. In closing, I believe that my tenacity, positivity and analytical nature would be a valuable asset to the WCC.
